New Executives Needed for Fall 2016!

The Plate Club is recruiting for the 2016-2017 school year! Please send your resume and a short email describing why you are interested in the position to theplateclub@gmail.com by Friday, April 8, 2016. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
The executive also includes 3 returning members: the Inventory and Rentals Coordinator, Financial Executive, and Marketing/Rentals Executive.

Office and Volunteer Coordinator (formerly Outreach) (3-7 hours/week)
- recruits, trains and schedules volutneers for office and lunch hours
-maintains and supervises office cleanliness and equipment, including hardware and software used for rental coordination
- communicates with volunteers regarding Plate Club business via social media and blog
- maintains current rental guidelines, contact and inventory information on blog, tumblr, social media, and inventory app
- schedules monthly meetings
- assembles data on Plate Club impact and usage on a monthly basis and publishes on social media
- coordinates annual in-office inventory count
- with the Volunteer Engagement Executive, participates in volunteer recruitment at sustainability events (Activities Night, Sustainability Fair, etc.)
- holds office hours 1 hour/week
* in Fall 2016 we hope to campaign for a fee levy to make this a paid position.

 Volunteer Engagement Executive (2-4 hours/week)
- plans volunteer appreciation actions on a weekly basis, with one big volunteer event per semester
(past volunteer appreciation includes weekly snacks, pub quiz, bowling...)
- participates in volunteer recruitment at sustainability events (Activities Night, Sustainability fair, etc)
- informs members about sustainability movements on campus and abroad by maintaining a presence on social media
- holds office hours 1 hour/week
  Student Engagement Executive (2-4 hours/week)
- promotes The Plate Club's advocacy for sustainability, selecting and raising awareness about an initiative related to waste on campus in order to make positive change (past advocacy actions include the campaign to end styrofoam use in the SSMU caf with petitions and Styrofoam-Free Day)
- interact with the community and engage Plate Club volunteers in advocacy on social media and on campus
- organizes one event related to sustainability goal per semester
- holds office hours 1 hour/week
